Waterford Fire Department is now the largest staffed fire department in Oakland County. Resources include eight fire stations staffed 24 hours a day, ten fully equipped late-model fire engines, six state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support EMS rescue vehicles, three 100-foot aerial ladder trucks, two mobile command vehicles with on-board computer and communications system, 105 full-time highly trained firefighters, of which 77 are licensed paramedics, and 25 dedicated volunteer firefighters.
